Recently our webserver suffered from DoS [1] attacks. As a result all web-content was unaccessable and webmail was rendered useless.

To defend the webserver against further DoS attacks we introduced some filter rules today and are limiting webserver access (for HTTP and HTTPS) to 20 connections per minute and IP address each.

Our tests here showed no problems with these settings but we received one user report about problems with our webmail service. If you experience problems please contact us and we will help you.
